Live Animal Purchase and Sales Agreement & Terms of Service
Animal Guarantee
All animals are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding consistently, and sexed as specified at the time of sale. The seller guarantees that each animal is accurately represented in its color, pattern, size, and sex.
If you believe an animal is not as described, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Upon review, we will provide a satisfactory replacement or refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding animal ownership. New England Reptile Distributors is not responsible for any failure to comply with these regulations.
Live Arrival Guarantee
New England Reptile Distributors guarantees live arrival on all shipped animals.
If an animal arrives deceased (DOA), you must notify us within one hour of delivery and provide photographs of both the unopened packaging and the deceased animal.
If an animal develops a health concern or is not as described, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
Temperament and disposition are influenced by many factors and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
Orders canceled by the buyer are subject to a 50% nonrefundable fee, representing the required deposit. This fee compensates for the time the animal was reserved and unavailable for purchase by other customers, as well as the ongoing care provided by our staff.
Please place an order only when you are certain you intend to complete the purchase and have the necessary funds available.
If an order is held for shipment for more than 30 days without communication from the buyer, the order will be considered abandoned. The animal(s) will be returned to inventory, and all payments made will be forfeited without refund.
Payment Plans & Deposits
Payment plans are available as follows:

Purchases of $500 or more: Up to 30 days

Purchases of $5,000 or more: Up to 60 days
Payment plans are not available for purchases under $500.
A 50% nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit is required to begin a payment plan.
If the balance is not paid in full by the agreed-upon due date, or if scheduled payments are not maintained, all payments made—including the deposit—will be forfeited. The animal will be returned to inventory and made available for sale.
A Payment Plan Agreement must be signed at the time the initial 50% deposit is received. The deposit covers the reservation of the animal and associated shipping costs.
