I just love this species!!!! Included are two older babies pics from the same IMG Sire and even though still young animals the amount of black has really made them stick out! Very exciting project for sure! This one is OUTSTANDING and will clearly be an exceptional animal with tons of white and will continue to add black as it grows.
This was a big litter and born 8/16/21 The Sire is a Dark IMG - Increasing Melanin Gene Genetic Basin as roughly half of the litter is Dark and Unusual. I firmly believe it is an Incomplete Dominant Gene and have no idea what happens when animals are bred back to each other.
Amazon Basins largely differ from the more common and available Northern Emerald Tree Boa. They are larger Growing, tend to be far more tolerant of handling and less likely to inflict a bite. They are still rather rare and special. It is also arguable that they are a bit hardier and easier to care for than the Northern Emeralds from Guyana and Surinam.
Feeding on live fuzzies every 10 days kept at an ambient 84F. Perfect in every way this will turn into a very pretty animal and the white Dorsal Stripe will only get better!

Please note that purchasing an animal does not mean that the animal will ship the same day. We will contact you about available shipment dates as well as signing our sales agreement. You will not receive tracking updates until we make your label which will then go to your email. Do not call to schedule shipment dates we require email confirmation to track shipments.
